This home is the quintessential mid-century modern “Alexander” home designed by William Krisel in 1957. The new owners of the house wanted to restore and add a few modern touches to the house that needed some TLC after several modifications over the years. For the exterior, we added an in-ground spa to the pool, an outdoor bar with covered dining and a firepit conversation area to take advantage of the spectacular mountain views. We also removed a large block wall in front, added a more appropriate screen wall with gates and updated it with new landscaping by Ryan Potter to improve the look of the house from the street. For the interior, we replaced the kitchen with new cabinets and a separated island, worked with and interior courtyard to provide more usable bathrooms and replaced the flooring throughout with porcelain tile. Bathrooms were upgraded with new period-inspired fixtures and finishes. Interiors by Hether Dunn Design and construction by C.W. Foster Inc.
